I have been fascinated with dolls since I was a very young boy, however, I am positive that if I had asked for a Barbie for Christmas, my wish wouldn’t have come true. Where I come from, boys just didn’t play with dolls, so I’d have to wait a while…

Later on, during my college years a dear friend exposed me to the world of collectible dolls for adults. Imagine my delight at this new discovery! I was a young costume design student and I found my muse. Since then, the design and construction of miniature fashion has become a passion of mine. I NEVER would have anticipated how much, not to mention that I would actually win awards for my designs! Designing for such a small scale presents its own set of challenges, but they are the kinds of challenges that ignite my creativity!

The Fashion Dolls I’ve shared here are all in 1:6 scale—essentially they are the size of the Barbies you may have played with as a child. ENJOY!
